Rafting & Jungle Tour
White Water Rafting
2nd June 2022: Pick-up from Hotel Buddy at around 0700 and driven in a private vehicle to the rafting start on the River Trishul - a drive of around two hours. Once there, you'll be briefed by your rafting guide.
Lunch is either taken directly after the rafting or on arrival at your hotel in Chitwan, before being driven to Chitwan. Once checked-in and having had lunch, we head to Tharu Village to enjoy an insight into traditional village life.
Late evening we hope to witness a beautiful sunset from a viewpoint over the Chitwan jungle canopy. We then return to Tharu Village for a cultural show of stick dancing, after which we enjoy dinner at the hotel.
Chitwan Jungle
3rd June 2022: We are woken early for birdwatching and breakfast, after which we walk in the jungle. Later we go to the elephant breeding centre, watch the elephants being bathed, and go on an elephant safari in the jungle with a naturalist.
This afternoon we enjoy a canoeing trip down river to spot some crocodiles before returning to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
4th June 2022: We wake early for some more birdwatching over breakfast, then head back to Kathmandu for overnight at Buddy Hotel.
Departure
5th June 2022: A driver will collect you from your hotel around 3 hours before your departing flight at 1345, and transfer you to Tribhuvan International Airport (KTM), ensuring that you arrive there at least 2 hours before your flight departs. Please let us know if you'd like to be collected earlier.

On arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, once you've passed through Immigration and retrieved your luggage, please look out for your Team Mount Everest driver carrying a placard with your name who will transfer you to Hotel Buddy in Kathmandu for overnight on bed and breakfast basis.
