The Advantage Series Everest Base camp Trek is an exciting adventure package conceived for those who want to make the best use of their time, eliminating the time-consuming requirement to descend all the way back to Lukla after visiting Base Camp and Kala Pattar.
Everest Base Camp trek is nowadays probably the most popular trekking trail in the world with four of the world’s six tallest mountains (Everest, Lhotse, Makalu & Cho Oyu) located in the Everest region. Beyond the physical challenge and exploration of the region’s natural beauty, this trek affords an excellent opportunity to experience the culture and traditions of the Himalayan tribes - especially the Sherpa community. Some of the interesting highlights in the Everest region are beautiful monasteries, the Sir Edmund Hillary hospital and schools, and Sagarmatha National Park (UNESCO World Heritage Site) – the habitat of many flora and fauna.
Initially, this trek flies out by helicopter from Kathmandu after concluding the previous day’s sightseeing in Kathmandu, with a trans-Himalayan scenic flight to Lukla - passing over mighty Himalayan peaks. Upon arrival at Lukla, the trek begins to Phakding and eventually tracing the route the following day to Namche Bazaar – a hub for trekkers and climbers. After one more day acclimatizing at Namche, the trek moves towards Tyangboche, Dengboche, Lobuche and towards the ultimate destination – Everest Base Camp. After completing the base camp trek, we fly straight back to Kathmandu on a chartered helicopter, without the need to spend a further 3 - 5 days descending on foot to Lukla.
Enjoy the trans-Himalayan flight to Lukla from Kathmandu with close proximity with world’s tallest peaksObserve the lifestyle and traditions of people living in the Himalayas (esp.
