Everest Base Camp Climb Dates
The dates provided below are not mandatory for climbing. They are only shared for those who want to join others they are not familiar with. Most of our clients prefer to choose their own dates without any additional charges. However, many of them ask us to open up their climbs to others, simply to have more companionship during the trek.
If you decide to join a group, there is no need to be concerned about large crowds. Unless specifically requested and agreed upon, we limit our climbs to a maximum of 8 trekkers. This allows our guide to closely monitor everyone's well-being, attend to their individual needs, and provide an opportunity for each person to discuss any concerns with the guide.
Our standard maximum group size is 8 trekkers (except where augmentation is requested by private groups).
In the table below where a πappears in the "Places" column, this indicates that the group have requested that their climb be private. This is often the case with families, for instance. "Couples" means that only couples are invited to join.
- π = indicates that the likelihood of the climb going ahead is highly likely
- π€ = indicates that the climb's likelihood on these dates is looking doubtful*
- π = previous COVID-deferral / dates are expected to be amended*
- β = status expected to be updated imminently
- πͺ = only families may join
- π = only couples may join
- π§ββοΈ = only solo climbers may join digit = anyone may join
- π = New Moon Climb
- π = Full Moon Climb

Calculating Flight Arrival and Departure Dates
It is advised that you arrange your arrival in Nepal on the day prior to the start of the climb or even earlier, and plan your departure for the day following the end of the climb or later. However, if you have limited time and can secure a late evening flight from Kathmandu, it is feasible to return home on the same day the climb concludes. In such cases, we recommend requesting us to reserve a day room for you, allowing you to freshen up, have a meal, and unwind before your journey home.
